Design Focus: Large quotation marks

Large, brightly coloured speach marks are all the rage in web design at the moment. They instantly draw attention to the quote and differentiate it from the surrounding text.

Depending the page design, you can either place the right mark vertically parallel to the left one in a fixed position, or in the traditional, free
flowing position.

Too many passwords to remember?

If like me, you have a myriad of usernames and passwords to keep track of, then try storing them in KeePass.

It is a password-protected desktop application that aggregates your login details for various websites and email accounts.

When you need login details KeePass will copy the details to your clipboard ready for you to paste into the respective login page. Simples!

7 excellent Wordpress 3.0 plugins

WordPress is an extremely popular content management system, and with the exciting release of WordPress 3.0 in June, I've written a piece on my 7 favourite Wordpress plugins.

With these plugins, you can backup your Wordpress blog or website, create page redirections and brand the administration area with your own logo. They are great.
